Galileo and Glosnass Satellite Support

Galileo and Glosnass in conjunction with GPS give better position information.  Particularly in areas with poor GPS signals.  Currently the Dash appears to support only GPS and QZSS (which is really only relevant in the Japan area)

As of 2.1.1 GPS accuracy is expected to be very good. The GPS chip on this device will not support GLONASS or Galileo

Gps lock is painfully slow in Scotland with the current firmware.

The accuracy is better than the L10, but still not in the GPS + GLONAS or GALILEO league.

Instead of 10-15% shorter distance I see on the L10, I saw 4% longer from the L50.

The track was reasonable, but looked like it was drawn on the map by someone with Parkinsons.

Possibly live recording vs 1sec smoothing?

in my opinion this would make little difference in accuracy and would shorten battery life

We made significant GPS quality improvements as of 1.1.0-alpha.15. This should help quite a bit.

Since the Dash units don't work with ANT+ or BLE speed/cadence sensors at this time, better GPS support is a must. Current GPS is so inaccurate.

Definitely a good idea, especially since EU/UK are important markets.
